Simen Smaadal (8-1, 3 KOs) is ready to get his career back on track when he returns to action against Janos Olah (14-16-1, 7 KOs) at the Nordic Fight Night on February 7 in Frederikshavn.

Smaadal lost a closely contested domestic dust-up against super middleweight rival Tim-Robin Lihaug in September. Since this defeat, the Langhus–boxer has quit his day job and focused all his energy on boxing. He is now ready to revive his promising career when he faces the 33 year-old Hungarian, Olah.

‘’Olah had better come prepared because he’s in for a tough night,’’ said Smaadal. ‘’The Lihaug loss was a setback but I’m ready to put that behind me and move forward with my career.

‘’I’ve quit my day job and I’m now training 2-3 times a day. I can’t wait to show everybody the new and improved Simen on February 7. The atmosphere is going to be electric. My fans have stuck with me and they are going to turn the Arena Nord upside down!’’

Smaadal joins countrymen Tim-Robin Lihaug (9-1, 5 KOs), Alexander Hagen (5-1, 1 KO) and Kai Robin Havnaa (1-0) in action at the Nordic Fight Night. All the action will be shown live on Viasat 4. Tickets are available via
