MURRAY TREATING SPADA FIGHT AS SPRINGBOARD TO BETTER THINGS

WBC Silver middleweight Champion, English Martin Murray, is determined to make an impression to rival that of  gravel voiced Jimmy Durante in his October 25th fight in Monte Carlo, Monaco, against, Italian Domenico Spada.

Murray, ranked # 1 by the WBC, working with the guidance of trainer, Oliver Harrison,is planning this fight to act as a springboard to even greater triumphs. He’s planning to have a world title bout in February 2015, but must stay on course.

Spada, who has fought great boxers in the past such as Marco Antonio Rubio, Darren Barker and Sebastian Zbik, has won seven of his last eight bouts and is determined to return to the top of world boxing.

“My opponent is very experienced, and he is always willing to give everything. He has an awkward style but I think it will be a great fight.  I’m Feeling in great shape, now that I’m Silver Champion my next step is to be absolute world champion. I think a fight against Cotto will be very attractive”, Murray concluded.
