MTK Global have appointed Lee Eaton and Ian Ritchie as Events Coordinators for the company’s shows in Britain and Ireland.
The pair are the latest additions to MTK Global’s new team following a recent Management Buy-In and change of management personnel.
With over 130 fighters now managed by MTK Global, both Lee and Ian will be on hand to ensure that all MTK shows around the UK and Ireland run smoothly and professionally to a high standard.
A Glasgow native, Ian Ritchie has been an integral part of MTK Scotland for two-and-a-half years. During that time he has been involved in arranging numerous MTK shows in Scotland, England and Ireland.
Ian has been involved in staging boxing cards for over 14 years as an events manager in Glasgow while he also managed squash and table-tennis events during the 2014 Commonwealth Games in his home city.
“I’m delighted to be involved in MTK Global and see it moving forward,” said Ian. “It’s very exciting and I think all the recent changes are going to be good for everybody involved.”
Based in London, Lee Eaton has been involved in boxing since 2009 and working in the sport for the past five years. Having promoted over 50 events, including evenings with world champions Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe and Anthony Joshua, Lee helped to raise a significant amount of money for charity through a number of shows in Essex in addition to running professional boxing cards and white-collar events.
Lee has been working with MTK Global since last January, with a particular focus on MTK London and has already coordinated four successful fight bills so far this year.
“I’m really pleased MTK Global have put their faith in me to be involved in all MTK events around the UK and Ireland,” said Lee. “I’m excited to be involved in the growth of MTK Global and I’m looking forward to a big year in 2018.”
MTK Global International Operations Director Paul Gibson is delighted to have recruited two hard-working additions to the company’s new team.
Gibson said: “Ian and Lee are both very hands on and I’m confident they’ll bring a professional and efficient approach to what is becoming an increasingly busy fight calendar for the company and our fighters.”
“Having recently joined the company, they were two men who immediately stood out. I have seen both of them in action during the ‘Frampton Reborn’ fight bill in Belfast, where MTK had 11 fighters on the bill, and I greatly appreciate the hard work they put in to make sure everything runs smoothly. They’re great assets to MTK Global,” Gibson added.
MTK Global will announce further appointments and new management personnel in the coming weeks.
