MGM are delighted to announce the signing of Liverpool’s John Quigley.
Before turning professional, Quigley had an extremely successful amateur career and was a part of the GB Team, opting to turn professional before the 2012 Olympic Games began.
Since turning professional, Quigley has amassed a flawless record of 13-0 and has boxed in the Super-Featherweight Division. On working with MGM, Quigley said “They are taking over. MGM are the best management team in boxing in my opinion and there was nobody else I’d rather sign for.”
The Merseyside resident has also fought in America a few times, stating “It was a tremendous experience and a wonderful opportunity.”
After a two year absence from the sport, Quigley can’t wait to get back into the mix and has also linked up with the Everton Red Triangle Boxing Club. The 26 year old continued “The plan is, give me two fights to get the ring rust off and then I’ll fight anybody. I’m totally confident in my own ability that I’ll beat anyone.”
MGM commented: “We are delighted to have John on board. He was a top quality amateur and has made a terrific start to his professional career. We look forward to helping him fulfil the potential that he undoubtedly has.”
Details of John’s next fight will be announced in the near future.
