Jumah scores second-round TKO in Oldenburg

Deion Jumah (4-0, 2 KOs) secured his fourth professional victory tonight at the EWE Arena in Oldenburg, Germany. The British boxer, who had been out of the ring for fourteen months, returned in devastating fashion, sending his opponent Josef Krivka (6-9, 6 KOs) to the canvas on four occasions before the referee called a halt to the action in the second-round.

‘’It’s great to be back,’’ said Jumah, who was making his debut at light heavyweight. ‘’I was really pleased with my performance. I would have liked to have been in there longer. I wasn’t looking for the stoppage, but I can’t complain.

‘’There were certain shots I wanted to land. I had a lot of success with the left upper cut to the body. In the second round I decided to change it up. I caught him with a right hook, left cross to the head, he went down, and the referee decided to call it a night. Now, it’s on to the next one!’’
