JOHN JOE NEVIN BLASTS OUT HEATH IN SECONDS

Irish amateur legend John Joe Nevin (3-0, 2KO’s) continued his steady rise up the pro ranks with an 88 second blow out of over matched Jack Heath (3-8, 2KO’s).

The home town hero was all over his opponent from the opening bell, scoring three knock downs leaving Heath looking to his corner to stop the contest in desperation.

After facing the best world amateur opponents over his years in the unpaid ranks, Nevin won’t face anything close to a test without stepping up several levels in the 135lb division.

The step-up will likely come across the Atlantic in America, as the Irish fighter is signed with manager Tom Moran and hence is likely to feature heavily in the next St Patrick’s Day fight line up in New York.
