Ricky Hatton trained duo, Sam Evans and Nathan Gorman, headline Hatton Promotions and Black Country Boxing’s seven-fight show at Walsall Football Club in May.
The show takes place in the Stadium Suite, Banks’s Stadium, on Saturday, 14th May.
Wednesbury welterweight Evans will be looking to extend his perfect start to life as a professional boxer in what will be his fourth fight. Nantwich heavyweight Gorman, 2-0, who is slated to appear on Billy Joe Saunders’ WBO Middleweight Title defence at the Copperbox in April, has also enjoyed a punch perfect start to life in the pro ranks.
Walsall’s former British Lightweight Champion, Martin Gethin, is also back in action. The home favourite will have shaken off a minor chest injury that caused him to miss Black Country Boxing’s recent show at Walsall Town Hall.
Stourbridge light middleweight, Steven ‘Fierce’ Pierce, returns following his unsuccessful English Title tilt in December alongside undefeated Stoke super lightweight, Kieron McLaren.
Former kickboxers Newark’s Chad ‘2 Slick’ Sugden and Wolverhampton’s Kyle Williams complete the card. The duo, super middleweight and bantamweight respectively, both enjoyed winning pro boxing debuts at Walsall Town Hall earlier this month.
Tickets for May-Hem, priced at £30 , are available by calling the boxers. £60 VIP tickets for tables of ten, with two-course meal, are available by calling Walsall FC Box Office on 01922 651 414/416.
