GOODWIN WINS COMMONWEALTH TITLE PURSE BID FOR MICAH‏

GOODWIN boxing

Steve Goodwin of Goodwin Promotions is delighted to announce that in association with Streetwise Promotions (Ghana) they have won the purse bid for Duke Micah to box for the Commonwealth Bantamweight title against Andrew Maloney.

It is the battle of the undefeated big bangers with Micah 18-0 (17 wins by KO) against Maloney 9-0 (5 wins by KO).

The bout will take place on November 12th at York Hall alongside the long awaited English Super-Middleweight title bout where Leon McKenzie takes on holder Jahmaine Smyle .

This is the second collaboration between Goodwin and Streetwise Promotions (Ghana). The first being with Richard Commey who now takes on Robert Easter jr for the IBF World Lightweight title in the US on 9th September.

Goodwin is confident that Micah is a future World champion. I am delighted to be working with Michael Amoo-Bediako of Streetwise Promotions (Ghana) once again to bring future World Champions to the UK and stage a major title fight for the UK fans. There will massive Ghanaian support for Micah on that night. Do not expect the fight to go the distance. It will be explosive….. whilst it lasts.

It is going to be an amazing night of boxing. Remaining tickets can be purchased at www.goodwinboxing.co.uk
