CROLLA – ABRIL FIGHT OFF, CONCERNS AS ANTHONY CONFRONTS BURGLARS NEAR NEIGHBOURS HOME

By Ian Mushrow (@imushrow)

Reports are emerging that WBA world title challenger Anthony “Million Dollar” Crolla (29-4-2, 11KO’s) has been injured after confronting intruders at/near a neighbours home in Manchester this evening.

Crolla 28, has been admitted to hospital after sustaining injuries to his head and ankle during the confrontation thought to be caused by a brick. The incident could not have come at a worse time for the Manchester fighter, who was in full training camp ahead of a January 23 crack at world champion Richar Abril at the Phones4U Area.

That fight has been postponed based upon a message posted by head of Matchroom Boxing Eddie Hearn late this evening; for now all at InstantBoxing.com wish Anthony a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in the ring soon.
