Dennis Ceylan (12-0-1, 6 KOs) has vowed to punish Spanish rival Cristian Montilla (6-3-1, 3 KOs) when the pair meet at the Albertslund MusikTeatret on December 13 in a repeat of their unresolved August showdown.

‘’It will be an exciting fight. I’m expecting another close match, but this time I will be declared the winner,’’ said Ceylan, who was held to a draw in their first encounter following an entertaining eight rounds of back and forth action.

“I’ve prepared well. I’ve had some great sparring and now I begin my training camp to hone the finer details. This time round I’m going to give Montilla a completely different fight. I’m fresh, I’m in super shape and I’m out for revenge.

“I’m not going to get into a brawl with him like I did in the first fight. I have to box him from a distance, play with him a little, make him fail and then punish him. On December 13, I’m going to punish Cristian Montilla!

“I wasn’t feeling good in our first fight. Literally, I was sick prior to the fight and before my ‘walk in’ I threw up. It made me nervous and after the third round my body was completely dead inside. At times I was being swamped by punches like a Rocky movie.

“It was embarrassing, a horrible situation for me, but deep down I knew I could not give up, so I threw myself into fifty-fifty battles. It was a risk, but it was my only chance to stay in the fight. It was a wild experience.”

“I was so close to giving up, but I’m proud that I had the character to fight on. It pains me that I now have a draw on my record, it is way too early in my career to get that spot, but this fight was pure survival. The rematch will be completely different!”

Ceylan vs. Montilla II is the latest addition to an action-packed card on December 13. Danish boxing brothers Patrick and Micki headline their hometown show, which also features rising Swedish star Erik Skoglund against former world champion Glen Johnson. Tickets are available via billetnet.dk.
